Quantitative determination of petroleum hydrocarbons in oily sludge following efficient n-heptane separation

Accurate analysis of the main chemical components oil-bearing sludge is an important prerequisite for effective soil remediation and resource reuse. However, precise extract difficult to achieve because mutual interference saturates, aromatics, resins, collectively called SAR, asphaltene that are introduced during chloroform extraction. In this study, SAR was efficiently extracted using n-heptane, while were retained in their insolubility n-heptane. The maximum yield extraction 27.0%, indicating increase 1.75% compared separated by chromatography structural units analyzed. results show resins have a single component, high content major components, contain fewer impurities n-heptane Moreover, solubility inhibited with did not influence subsequent component. Efficient extraction, accurate component analysis, efficiency separation achieved n-heptane-extraction-assisted pyrolysis. This provides new method oily promotes its efficient separation.
